Kid Made Modern, a part of the Made Modern brand, is a craft company that creates fun and creative craft kits and art supplies for kids. They offer various products encouraging children to explore their artistic abilities, from jewelry-making to painting and craft kits. The brand emphasizes hands-on activities that help kids develop problem-solving, fine motor skills, and creative expression, emphasizing open-ended play.
As the Associate Creative Director, I brought the Made Modern brands to life across all customer touchpoints. This included overseeing design, copywriting, photo art direction, video production, and crafting for all marketing, e-commerce, and social media channels. I also collaborated closely with the marketing, product development, and merchandising teams to continually define and evolve the Kid Made Modern (KMM) and Handmade Modern (HMM) brands.
Kid Made Modern and Handmade Modern packaging evolved during my tenure – introducing the KMM rainbow logo to packaging and developing the HMM packaging for the new launch. Besides the brand packaging, I developed the art direction for all photography. On-package photography by Jen Marx Photography
