We created this animation as a transition asset from The Land of Nod to Crate and Kids.
Digital Marketing: Crate & Kids
Before Crate and Barrel launched Crate and Kids, the company had owned The Land of Nod for many years. I worked with both brands — first with The Land of Nod, and then through the transition when Crate and Barrel took the kids’ business in-house and reintroduced it as Crate and Kids. This continuity gave me a unique perspective on the brand’s evolution and positioned me to help shape its new digital presence.
Balancing Playful and Premium
Crate and Kids needed to quickly establish recognition in the competitive children’s home and décor market. The creative challenge was to merge the playful, family-focused personality of The Land of Nod with the premium, design-forward reputation of Crate and Barrel, creating a seamless yet distinct identity that resonated with young families while meeting big-brand expectations.
Creative Leadership Across Channels: Email Marketing
Directed high-performing campaigns from concept through final design, increasing engagement by refining design hierarchy, elevating product storytelling, and strengthening CTAs while also introduction motion into this channel.
